Cantaloupe

Dear Bump,

You are currently kicking me so I’m guessing your little ears are burning and you know I’m talking about you.
Over the past few weeks these kicks and wiggles have increased for me, but every time I quickly grab your Dad’s hand you suddenly stop.
I think I will have to be a bit sneakier in the hand grabbing as he is desperate to feel you move.

As you have grown to the size of a cantaloupe you have also made me grow….well pretty much all over. That is right (not so little anymore) bump, your Mum is turning into a weeble.
If you could stop the craving for sour skittles I think that would seriously help me out.

Walks are now a huge way of life for your Dad and I.
Just today we went to the canal in the rain just so I could release a bit of this hip ache. Yet the whole walk we were talking about all the places we want to take you and where your first walk will be.

Just to keep you updated your little room is just a few short weeks away.
Which finally means we can start to ‘nest’.
Seeing as you have creative, arty some say hippy like parents we cannot wait to get our mitts on your room, the whole house for that matter. We hope you love it as much as we do.

We are now just over 3months away from meeting you Melon Ball.
Even though things are calming down elsewhere around us, the excitement of you I don’t think will ever die down.

Artichoke

Dear Bump,

I can't believe i'm saying this but we are over half way!
20 weeks and cooking nicely.
We got to see you again on my 27th birthday and we couldn't believe how much you have grown.
You have gone from the size of an avocado to the size of an artichoke in just 8 weeks.
We also had the option to find out if you are a little boy or little girl....the question on everyone's lips since has been 'well...what are you having?'

Who knows.

We are going to see you a few more times than 'normal' though just to make sure things continue to run smoothly due to my rubbish, sticky and down right inconvenient condition.
But hey, it means a few more photos for your baby book.

In the past few days I have started to feel move more and more.
These little flutters in my tummy letting me know that you are awake and have a wiggle.

Things are starting to fall into place with your new home.
Paper work is being processed.
Signatures being scribbled left, right and centre.
However throughout the stress' and strains of buying this house, the thought of making it comfy and cosy for your arrival makes it all worth while.

Keep on growing little artichoke.
4 more months and we finally get to meet you.
