Avocado

Dear Bump,

16 weeks we have now been growing and learning together.
You how to wiggle, blink and developing to the size of an avocado.
Me...well just generally growing, you are turning in to quite the bump.

We have finally seen you in your first scan, and of course because I have turned into a blubbering mess these past few months, I obviously cried.
With all your little movements on the screen those happy tears turned into giggles, which made you flip over like a little jumping bean.
With every laugh another rotation so I have to say sorry for all the flips and turns on our first encounter.

Your little face has already developed and even in blurry black and white you are the cutest thing your Dad and I have ever seen.

The peeing and the headaches remain, but thankfully the sickness has stopped which I can't deny is a huge relief.

We are still wondering whether to find out if you are a little boy or a little girl.
Do we keep you as a surprise?
Do we find out so we can come up with a few names for you to choose from?
Who knows.

But what we do know is we can't wait to see you again at your 20 week scan.
To see how our little avocado will have grown even more into the little bundle we can't wait to meet.
